The Summer Leadership Academy
The Eleventh Annual Summer Leadership Academy is your school's opportunity
to make unique inroads in meeting your school improvement goals.
No matter where you are in the process, the Academy provides your
team with the time and resources to move forward. With carefully
planned strategies, the skills to implement them and the techniques
to document the results, school improvement can be a focused, rewarding
and productive experience.
The Academy is designed for three to five member school improvement
teams. Resources such as knowledgeable NCA facilitators and staff,
Internet access with assistance and mini-workshop sessions are available,
as well as a variety of NCA materials. The evenings are left free
to further group work, discuss hot topics in education and engage
in relaxing activities at the Grand Traverse Resort.

Back by popular demand! District Accreditation Strand
For schools/districts pursuing District Accreditation we will have special workshops and planning sessions during the Summer Leadership Academy. We will feature educators from districts who have received their District Accreditation to help guide new districts through the process! This will be a fabulous opportunity for districts to learn more about how they can more efficiently perform and achieve greater results as a system!

Summer Academy Location
The 2009 Academy will be located at the exciting Grand Traverse Resort in Traverse City.

Meals at the Summer Conference
Included in your registration fees are two continental breakfasts (Wednesday and Thursday morning) and one box lunch on Wednesday.
